My dad bought me a really nice set of michelin chef quality, single bevel kitchen knives. This particular set is the Kamikoto Kanpeki set.
Kamikoto is a Japanese company hq’d in Tokyo that manufactures their knives in China with steel from the Honshu area of Japan. The manufacturing is overseen by Japanese master smiths.
These things are beautiful, very well balanced, and SHARP.
